Tapered A Frames are some of the strongest, most simple shelters. They have increased wind shedding and an optimized shape to decrease weight. They also are the ideal shape to use with an independent bug bivy, easily making a sub 1 pound shelter. Optional doors increases storm protection for minimal weight increases.
